Follow-up applications for four calendar weeks with only unemployed time and those that are a direct continuation of a previous application are paid out every four weeks. The payment schedule is staggered in accordance with the receipt of the application. If a salary payment day falls on the application it moves to the section “Follow-up application with working days, salary or compensation” in the table above, i.e. to the follow-up applications queue.

The daily allowances of follow-up applications will be paid within 1-2 days after the receipt day. Possible exceptions may apply during weeks that include midweek holidays.

Monday On Tuesday or Wednesday of the same  week
Tuesday On Wednesday or Thursday of the same week
Wednesday On Thursday or Friday of the same week
Thursday On Friday of the same week or on Monday of the following week
Friday On Monday or Tuesday of the following week
Saturday On Tuesday or Wednesday of the next week
Sunday On Tuesday or Wednesday of the next week

The processing of follow-up applications with working days or if salary has been paid during the application period is staggered in accordance with the receipt of the application and when the pay slip has been submitted to the unemployment fund. Primarily the paid salary will affect the daily allowance on the application period, when the salary has in reality been paid.

Follow-up applications of those, who have been temporarily laid-off for a shortened working week or lay-offs are carried out biweekly, will also be processed in the order they have been received, but it is not necessary to submit pay slips to the unemployment fund.

An earnings-related allowance is payable at the earliest a few days after the application has been picked up for processing. If the application or attachments are incomplete, we will ask you for more information. You can check the receipt date of your own application in eService

Unemployment allowance must be applied for within three months of the start of your entitlement to daily allowance. The three-month application period also applies to follow-up applications.
