A-kassa’s EmploymentWebinars continue in March–April with two topical themes. The free webinars provide members with practical support for job seeking as well as new perspectives on employment opportunities.
In the March EmploymentWebinar, we will discuss with Barona’s experts how to broaden your job search and what to consider when looking for a new job. In the April EmploymentWebinar, we will introduce A-kassa’s EmploymentWizard and the opportunities it offers to support job seeking.
24.3.2026: More job opportunities – why limit yourself?
In the webinar held on Tuesday, 24 March 2026 at 10–11, we will examine geographical limitations in job searching and their impact on employment.
Job opportunities can be found surprisingly close by – or a bit further away – without requiring you to relocate in order to accept a job. The webinar will cover how you can expand the geographical scope of your job search and what to consider when thinking about accepting a job in another location.
In this joint webinar by A-kassa and Barona, the topic will be approached from the perspective of mobility, and concrete examples of how to broaden your job search will be provided.
The discussion will feature A-kassa’s Service Manager Elina Laine, Barona’s Development Manager Teemu Junkkarinen, and Barona’s Key Account Manager Pirjo Rouhiainen.
1.4.2026: How to use EmploymentWizard in job search
In the webinar held on Wednesday, 1 April 2026 at 11–12, we will explore the possibilities offered by the EmploymentWizard as support for job searching.
In A-kassa’s Employment Webinar, we will demonstrate in a practical way how the EmploymentWizard can be used in job searching. Using simple examples, we will go through how the service works and what it can be used for.
The webinar will show, through practical examples, how the service can be used, for example, to build a job seeker profile, edit application documents, and describe your own skills.
The EmploymentWizard is A-kassa’s AI-based service that supports job searching in many ways. With it, you can:
- create and update your job seeker profile
- develop your job application documents
- discuss job searching with AI
- receive job and training recommendations tailored to you
Speakers in the webinar are A-kassa’s Unemployment Security Specialist Vuokko Hirvikoski and the producer of the Employment Helper, Filip Bovin, CEO of Nedu AI.
How to participate
The EmploymentWebinars are free of charge and intended for all A-kassa members. Registration takes place via the eService.
The webinars will be held on the Teams platform, and participants can ask questions via chat during the sessions. Both webinars will be recorded and published later in the EmploymentWizard.
