EmploymentWizard is a job search tool designed for A-kassa members, supporting you at different stages of your job search. With it, you can compile and tailor your CV for different positons and create employer-specific, customised applications. You also gain access to the resources of your own trade union and A-kassa’s free Employment Webinars.
We have compiled five tips below to help you get started with EmploymentWizard.
➡️ 1. Complete your profile carefully
Upload your existing CV or LinkedIn profile and fill in any missing information related to your work experience, education and skills. This helps the AI identify job opportunities that are right for you. Also select your own trade union to access resources relevant to your field. You can also complete your profile without a previous CV.
➡️ 2. Make the most of your skills
Add skills to your profile that you have gained through work, studies and your free time. You can also assign a proficiency level to your skills. This way, relevant skills will be included in your CV and job applications.
➡️ 3. Use the AI advisor Astro
EmploymentWizard includes an AI chatbot (Astro), which you can use to develop your profile and reflect on your career. For example, you can discuss which courses you should take or what kind of jobs you could apply for in the future, and add new work experience directly to your profile.
➡️ 4. Explore support resources
On the EmploymentWizard homepage, you will find various resources to support your job search and career. These include upcoming webinars and webinar recordings. You can also get help with applying for grants or with entrepreneurship, and access services provided by your own trade union.
➡️ 5. Review required certificates and cards
On the homepage, you will also find the Education tab, where it is worth exploring studies and any certificate trainings related to your field. After completing a certificate, you should of course add it to your profile.
Based on the information you provide, the section generates a skills analysis. If you have shared your career goals, you will also receive a plan outlining what you can improve to achieve them. The skills analysis is also an excellent tool for identifying your own competencies.
