Who is the service for?
A-kassa offers for its members a job placement service in collaboration with Barona. The service includes a tailored application channel where one application can be used to apply for multiple positions that match your interests.
Barona’s recruiters review carefully each application and assess your potential and suitability for various industries and available jobs. You will be considered for all the fields and tasks you’ve indicated in your profile. If there is no immediate match, your profile will be stored and matched with jobs that open later. Opportunities may also include apprenticeship programs or short-term training-to-hire options.
How to access the Job Placement Service?
If you are a member of A-kassa, you can access Barona’s job placement service through eService. There are two ways to proceed:
Option 1: Use EmploymentWizard
Steps to log in:
- Log in to eService using your online banking credentials or mobile certificate.
- Go to EmploymentWizard. If you are a first-time user, create an account or log in if you already have one.
- Complete your job seeker profile in EmploymentWizard and proceed to Barona’s platform.
- Log in to Barona’s service using your Barona credentials (username and password).

- If you already have Barona credentials, they will link automatically.
- If you’re a new user, credentials will be created upon first login.
In EmploymentWizard, you can also create your CV and job application documents to use directly in Barona’s platform.
Option 2: Go directly to Barona’s job placement platform
Steps to log in:
- Log in to eService using your online banking credentials or mobile certificate.
- Follow the direct link to Barona’s platform and fill in your profile.
- Log in to Barona’s service using your credentials (username and password).

- If you’re a new user, credentials will be created upon first login.
What kind of jobs does Barona offer?
Barona provides opportunities across a range of sectors: construction, industry, logistics, retail, hospitality (hotel, restaurant, catering), IT, HR, finance and administration, and healthcare and social services. Positions range from short-term gigs to specialist and managerial roles – some roles don’t require prior experience.
Employment can be through either the hiring company or directly through Barona. International opportunities are also available, for example in the Nordic countries, Spain, and Poland.
