Local government pilot on employment started in March

Approximately a third of TE Service’s clients are about to transfer to municipalities’ clients. The change affects people that receive earnings-related allowance and are under the age of 30 years, immigrants or people whose native language is other than Finnish, Swedish or Sami.

The purpose of the local government pilot is to find out whether it would be possible to improve services of the jobseekers by arranging them via municipalities. The aim of improving the services is to achieve faster employment. The pilot is underway during 1 of March 2021 until 30 of June 2023.
