Backlog in unemployment fund’s processing situation

The Unemployment Fund of Finnish Industrial Workers has received a vast amount of earnings-related allowance applications at the turn of the year. This has lead to a backlog in processing the applications.

In order to guarantee processing of applications as fast as possible, the unemployment fund temporarily limits the opening hours of our customer service. The phone service will be closed on Thursdays 14 and 21 of January as well as on Friday 29 of January.
