Additional possibilities to meet activity model requirements
Possibilities to meet conditions of the activity model are extended on 1.1.2019 and again on 1.4.2019. From the beginning of this year the conditions can be met by studying part-time (link to the article). In addition, the number of operators who arrange employment promoting activities that meet the condition, are increased from April 1st. At the present only activities arranged by the employment authorities or their outsourcing services, meet the conditions of the activation model. However, we have in our country, several other operators who arrange employment promoting activities, such as municipalities and registered associations and societies. The precondition is that the association or society gets public financial support to arrange employment promoting activities. Also employment promoting activity arranged by trade unions can meet the conditions of the activity model. The schooling arranged by the employer to the workers made redundant, within the change security, is at the moment not meeting the conditions of the activation model. This will also face improvements from April 1st.
